This mixed-use development from Cathartes, a Boston-based private real estate firm, includes 30 residential units, among which 4 were designed affordable units, in the burgeoning Union Square neighborhood of Somerville. A long-standing client of Gilmartin Magence, Cathartes set the mark high with a successful pre-sale marketing campaign that resulted in nearly a 100% sell-out prior to issuance of the project’s certificate of occupancy. Gilmartin Magence navigated approvals of its condominium documents with Somerville’s housing authority to ensure compliance with Somerville’s Inclusionary Housing Agreement that governs the project’s affordable housing component.
